How’s your perfectionism these days? What about perfectionism when it comes to parenting? I often joke that I’m a recovering perfectionist, but boy does it show up at the least convenient times and in the most inconvenient ways. It’s often when I’m super busy or in a life transition of major life change and don’t have a lot of extra time for self-care and rest and relaxation. But, isn’t it one of those ironies of life, that in these times, what we actually need to do is stop and take good care of ourselves? So, that’s what I’m currently work on in my own life.
