My coaching program is focused on eight core areas. Most clients do coaching with me while also completing my Mental Wellness for Postpartum Moms course, as these two components were created to go hand in hand. Coaching sessions typically last for 10 sessions, although some clients stay for less time and some stay longer.
Here’s a breakdown of the coaching program:
- Initial Session– getting to know each other, learning more about you and your life history, creating a coaching program that’s right for you
- Deep Dive into Postpartum– defining postpartum, your birth story, the baby blues
- Transitioning into Motherhood– life transitions, matrescence, grief and loss
- Creating Space for Feelings and Emotions– emotional intelligence, emotional flooding, anger
- New Normals– internal and external stressors, surviving versus thriving
- Mental Wellness– mindset, thinking patterns and judgment/criticism
- Mom Life– guilt, shame and unmet needs
- Strengthening Relationships– parenting, your partner, family life
- Boundary setting and self-care– basic, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual
- Closing session– review all that you’ve learned, recommendations for the future and goodbyes
These are just some of the topics covered in the Mental Wellness for Postpartum Moms course. During coaching, some clients like to spend more than one session on some of these topics, while others may want to spend less time on some. Together, we’ll create the postpartum coaching program that’s right for you!
