Staying connected to yourself and others is a very important part of mental wellness throughout motherhood. This can also be very hard to do at times, especially during those many long, sleepless nights in early postpartum. It’s also helpful to have awareness around the mental load you’re carrying during motherhood, and what type of help and support could help alleviate some of this stress.
Let’s start with a few simple ways to add more connection into your life:
- Be intentional with your time and who you choose to spend this time with in life
- Be emotionally available to yourself and others
- Be open to therapy to work through any issues that are coming up for your around emotional connection

- Prioritize your self-care

- Work on mindfulness
- Talk to a therapist
- Find time to do something you love
- Acknowledge any loneliness you’re currently feeling

- Go outside and focus on the natural beauty all around you
