There is no perfection, only beautiful versions of brokenness.
-Sharon L. Alder
How are you doing these days? We’re getting ready to move back into our house after living overseas for two years. We’re all so ready for this move after living in a small apartment for the past four months, while we waited (semi patiently) for our household goods to arrive. That being said, I have been busy with move prep. That got me thinking about busyness as a coping strategy and a way of doing life, versus something you just have to get through because it’s a short-term issue. I’ve also noticed some perfectionism creeping in around doing this move perfectly (ugh!). And, at times feeling like I’m taking up too much space with my asks around needing extra time for self-care to keep myself as centered and grounded as possible during this transition. Is any (or maybe all?) of this relatable to your own life today?
